Media provenance

Anchored at capture, so a synthetic re-cut cannot inherit the proof.

The problem

An image or video carries no reliable record of where it came from, and generated media is now indistinguishable from a recording at a glance.

01
What is anchored
Images and video, anchored at the moment of capture.
02
When it is revealed
Anchored at capture; the proof travels with the file.
03
Who checks it
Newsrooms, platforms and viewers. A re-cut produces a different hash and fails the check.
The cycle is identical

Canonicalise the artifact, hash it with a secret nonce, anchor the fingerprint, then reveal inside the window. Only the schema and the window change from one application to the next.

The whitepaper specifies the canonicalisation, the hash construction and the contract surface in full.
